Hi! I’m Alaia Coronado, a 19-year-old baker and the owner of Alaia’s Cupcakery and Bakery. Outside of baking, I love to dance, go to the movies, and try new places to eat. I’m also the oldest of four, with three younger siblings! My baking journey started my freshman year of high school, when I began selling cupcakes at school. After customers started asking for cake pops, I began experimenting with new treats. Not long after, a coworker asked me to make a last minute cake for his sister’s 16th birthday. I had never made a cake before, but I took on the challenge and completely fell in love with it!

What started with cupcakes at school has grown into a passion for creating sweet treats and memorable cakes for others. And from there, the rest is history!
